Bear ventures onto front porch, sniffs woman's arm
Wildlife officials plan to put a trap in a neighborhood off Hurlburt Road after a resident complained that a bear came up on her front porch and sniffed her arm. Priscilla Brakebill was rocking on her front porch on Judson Street with her eyes closed Wednesday night when she felt something touch her arm.

The Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Florida Chapter XXV, presents the Deputy Skip York Memorial Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center Poker Run May 19. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Heritage Cycles Harley Davidson, 788 North Beal Parkway in Fort Walton Beach. Riders, $20, and with passenger, $25, and includes lunch and music.
